Banned from VM support forum

Just been banned from VM's support forum for highlighting the £5 TiVo increase for existing customers. They said it was Spam. I politely queried this and have been banned. A sad state of affairs , they can't possibly hope to keep this price rise quiet can they ?

Looks like you'll have to put up with me here ;) Lucky you.....

do they think banned one person from a forum will stop people finding out about a price rise. Even a few penny increase and people will notice when they look at their bank statements. Money is tight...

Is that £3 per box to £5 per box or £5 on top of the exisitng £3 which is £8 meaning my 2 Tivo's will be arriving on their doorstep tomorrow.

Update - Whilst we reserve the right to review and change our prices to ensure we are able to continue to deliver leading products and services, we can confirm that customers that already have TiVo, or take TiVo before 28th February, will stay at £3 per month per box, and will not see an increase at the end of their 12m contract; only customers adding a new TiVo box from 28th February will pay £5 per month per box. We're sorry for any confusion.

It was a mistake CC. Read the latest post in the TV Price Rises thread. Existing customers who add TiVo Before 28th Feb will not see a rise in the monthly fee for TiVo.

Actually there was no guarantee it wouldn't happen. 'Whilst we reserve the right to review and change our prices' was the caveat to the retraction this afternoon which means it meant nothing.

It's obvious they intend to get all customers on a £5 TiVo charge at some point.
Neil B's words were :- And in 12 months time, as current TiVo customers roll off their first 12-month contract, they will migrate from GBP 3 to GBP 5.

When that happens is now open to question, hopefully they've been embarrassed enough to postpone it for now.
