End of the world, Saturday, 21st May

I had a quick mooch and couldn't see any other threads on this, anyway, that reknowned nutcase Harold Camping believes the end of the world begins this Saturday with 200 million Christians being raptured.

Fortunately most Christian leaders are rubbishing it rather than whipping everyone up into a pointless frenzy.

Anybody want to have a sweepstake on what excuse he'll use when he wakes up on Sunday morning and nothing's changed?

Best bumper sticker I ever saw was in Atlanta, which said -

"If the Rapture comes, grab the steering wheel!"....:D

I wonder if we could delay it 'till the end of the upcoming two parter of Doctor Who. I'd hate to die not knowing what happened.

Ideally he'll have realised he has lived large swathes of his life under a delusion and set about actually living his life as a free human being rather than cowtowing to a mythical deity.
