HELP!! I can't view any of my recordings??
 

I go into my v+ recordings and select something to watch(doesn't matter what) and then it goes to what's on the TV but on the banner it says that Im watching the recording,
So I can't watch anything else, it's stuck on the TV channel and I have to reboot to watch Normal TV

I have just come of the phone to faults team but after half an hour no joy, many reboots.

I don't want to talk to another Indian who barely understands me, and I barely understand for another half an hour.

I'm sorry if Im not explaining myself properly. It's hard to explain for me.

What do I need to do please??

A few more details might help the tech whiz's - Is it a samsung or Scientific Atlanta box?

You can always ring back and request to be put through to a UK call center. I'm usually pretty lucky when I ring between 8am - 4pm, and get someone from Scotland.

Hopefully they will be able to sort it for you.

Ring tomorrow just after 0800 and you should get a UK agent.

It may need a technician so you could try again as the UK centres should be available until 10pm tonight but you will just get the next agent who is free.

I know what you are asking but that kind of issue needs an agent sitting in front of a computer which is connected to your box for correct diagnostics to take place.

It could be something as simple as your box needs a reprovisioning signal sent to it or it may have a power level issue.

It may be possible to fix over the phone or as I said above it may need an engineer.

Ok fair enough, they ran some diagnostics and said the signal was fine. She was passing me onto a stage 2 fault rep and the phone went dead

If she was going to call 2nd line then the is definitely an issue and you need to call back as they do not cold transfer you to those agents and the should be notes on your account to reflect the previous call.

I have been hung up on again. Before people jump on the band wagon, and accuse me of shouting swearing, or being rude, I will say this......I did not

On the phone listening to the same crappy song for the millionth time, every time I phone up the waiting time doubles.....

I believe you may be having issues getting through, it may be because England are on live and people are having issues and ringing up which does happen around major sporting events.

Try 150 and the option "thinking of leaving us" as you are obviously get annoyed now.

I spoke to a lovely person on level 2 faults. She reformatted my box, and all is fine now. But as it's now been reformatted twice it's recommended it gets replaced so I have an engineer booked fir Tuesday. They are also replacing the box upstairs as it's sluggish, she suggested this as I was worried I would get a SA box after fighting so hard to get samsung before, and she said it shouldn't be sluggish and will replace both boxes...
