Should we be allowed to wear what we like?

Having seen this story in the news yesterday -

http://business.timesonline.co.uk/to...cle7116303.ece

And now this one today -

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/n...re/8665203.stm

Should ASBO's really be given out for the way people dress?

i agree with this quote from the times

Quote:

Alex Deane, director of the civil liberties group Big Brother Watch, said: “The proper punishment for the comically low-riding trousers favoured by some people is that we all think they look like idiots.”
personally i think the courts have more important issues to worry themselves with than this .
I just think they look stupid ,plus it's easier to give them a wedgie

Clothes Fascism...

So much for people like my father going to fight for personal freedoms during WW11..and too many shockable folk living in the UK it would appear.

Then there is the Naked Rambler who won't wear clothes at all.;)

Why don't people just laugh AT the idiots..though I guess in this day and age they may well go crying to the PTB that their human rights have been violated.

the way i read that is that he was given an asbo for threatening ect behaviour after the asbo for wearing those trousers and a hoodie was thrown out which suggests to me that the magistrates thought that wearing extra low trousers was more serious  have i got it right ?
