As it's illegal to keep money mistakenly paid to you then I would have returned it.. No sense having an international arrest warrant hanging over your head for the rest of your life and being unable to return to the UK..

And that was my arguement, would it be worth while running with the money and hoping that the country you get to will never had an extradition treaty with the UK and facing the fact that you can never return (just about everyone gets homesick at some point in thier life)

I would have bought a few iteims like a new pc car ect. Done all of my xmas shopping ect. Then when confronted I would have said. "I thought his was my well earned xmas bonus I have deserved after all of my hard worked yrs of service .":D
