When has "View from" been added?
 

Just found this on some on-demand programs.
Has this only been added today?

Allows you to watch the program from any manually entered time, so no more fast forwarding for ages until you get to the bit left off :)

Noticed it today too, bit pointless having it on music vids though, which are usually 5 mins max. Great timesaver though.

There was some bug or other, I know it was intended to be re-instated but not sure of the timescale. There's thread about it on this forum, somewhere.

It is being rolled out, region by region, not sure of timescales though... HTH

Digital Fanatic, are you in contact with the developers?
You know the description beneath the View, View from and Cancel buttons.
The View from button displays the same description as the Cancel button, and some people may get confused if you get me.

One last thing, has the speed enhancements been rolled out along with this new feature, or are we still awaiting that, I've noticed that searching through on-demand programs is a tad bit faster, but not significantly.

I know the Team are constantly improving in this area... once we start to roll out IPTV and TIVO, things will be even better :)

ok, so ive tired several different on demand programs (tv shows and music videos) and I can't find this 'view from' feature anywhere. can someone please tell me how to use it?

It's on the last menu page before the video starts. Try rebooting your STB then waiting 15 minutes if you can't see it.

If you have XL, it won't appear on music videos.
But on TV programs in either choice or catchup, it's the button on the right of 'View' and on the left of 'Cancel'.
