Configuring Hotmail on the Nokia n95

I was wondering if anyone can help. I have set up my hotmail account on my N95 and I don't have any problems receiving mail. However when I want to send an email, I can create it but it just seems permanantly queued in my outbox (on the mobile).
Can anyone help me set this up correctly. Thanks

Nothin webc, it receives mail no probs

Thirdly, hotmail is a http mail - does the N95 support this?

Thirdly, hotmail is a http mail - does the N95 support this?

There's no error. It just stays queued in my outbox. And I'm sure the n95 supports it.

well i can receive hotmail email so i assume it does.

I saw that earlier too Jellybaby. I've tried everything on there but it didn't work. I was hoping someone on this forum had got hotmail working on the n95.

The annoying thing is that it retrieves emails without a problem, so I don't want to give up just yet lol.

My settings are:

Outgoing mail server : smtp.live.com
Security(ports) : SSL/TLS
Port : 25

I've tried the other combinations that I have found on google.

It asked for mail type for incoming mail server, which i entered POP 3 for.

Whatever variations I use, the message is not sent :(

Okay - have you tried port 26? Also, what method have you get it setup as, I.E pop 3 / imap etc?

pop3, not tried port 26

Thatw ill be why - hotmail isnt a pop 3 service is a http email service. Is there an option for that?

The only options are IMAP4 and POP3 but all the references in google say I should define it as a pop3 for hotmail. Anyway assuming it can't work can you explain why I'm able to receive emails?
