Should Peter Hain resign?

In light of his "forgetting" to declare £103,000 of donations / funding do you think Peter Hain should resign?

Yes, no question...

A man with a brain the size of a planet 'forgetting'?

Normally I would say no, just let bthem get on with it but hearing the circumstances on last nights news I think he should go.

My understanding is he ran up large debts in his PM bid and when he failed he quickly had to try and get donations for a campaign he had already lost. There were also some doubts over a private 'think tank' which may be used to manage discreet conations

Yep, he really screwed it up. Normally I would say No, give the benefit of the doubt and no real harm was done. But this is really dodgy

I was feeling particularly generous.

It's a close call.

Can I just register my disgust at this defamation of this great ex-Liberal New Labour Kenyan South African Welsh (ex-Northern Ireland) Secretary of State for Work and Pensions.

Who amongst us hasn't "misplaced" £100k? I see the smear tactics of tree-hugging right-wingers like Mr Angry and BBKing here, spreading their Daily Mail reading slanders on this righteous defender of the South African/Welsh/Northern Irish/Workers and Pensioners.

Nah - Frakk it, just bin him.

Humpf!

I'm still surprised in this day and age that anyone is actually surprised by politicians not turning out to be pillars of the community.

Frankly anyone who WANTS to be a politician is suspicious enough.I'd rather have people who don't want the job doing the job..They might have some integrity even if they can't do the job and frankly the pig's poke the last government AND this one have done in running the country proves that even politicians can't do it any better.

I reckon Mr Angry for PM...unless of course he actually wants the job..;)

Or in this case, a pillar of salt. Take him away!

He should be fighting wabid wild animals within a week.
