Dial up on the move
Santa tells me that my son has a laptop for Christmas but when he opens his present he wont be at home so he wont be able to connect to the wireless router that his dad had a nightmare setting up for him :p: so he will have to access the internet via his grandmas bt phone line for a few days what is the cheapest dial up provider for him for a few days with no sign up required or could he is there a way he could even get wireless access baring in mind he will be in the country

Re: DIAL UP ON THE MOVE
He might be lucky to pick up an unsecured wireless network, failing that, maybe a wireless hotspot, there are lists available, where will he be ( area, notaddy :D )
Other than that, I don't know if you can get a temp payg dial up sortathing  Sorry I can't be of more use, best bet is to hope for the wireless network and :erm: borrow a cup of internet :D |
Re: DIAL UP ON THE MOVE
he will be on the outskirts of Milton Keynes well approx 7.4 miles from the city centre which i hear has free wireless access but not sure if it will get that far :erm: i have just seen this lot http://www.mipcards.com/ 2000 minutes @ £10 seems pretty reasonable for dial up

Re: DIAL UP ON THE MOVE
Well I put free dial up access into google and it popped up a few up. So have a look on there.
I guess it depends on how much it will be used. |
Re: DIAL UP ON THE MOVE
I think you can still get the Dial up CDs in tescos. Cost in nominal as I believe it's charged at local rates, and if it's just for a few days that should be fine. But there are loads. AOL always have a free trial, but personally I'm not a big fan of AOL. But Tesco, Currys etc should all have free CDs in store.
