1st 512K took 6437 ms = 79.5 KB/sec, approx 655 Kbps, 0.64 Mbps 2nd 512K took 4000 ms = 128 KB/sec, approx 1055 Kbps, 1.03 Mbps 3rd 512K took 3750 ms = 136.5 KB/sec, approx 1125 Kbps, 1.1 Mbps 4th 512K took 3344 ms = 153.1 KB/sec, approx 1262 Kbps, 1.23 Mbps Overall Average Speed = approx 1024 Kbps, 1 Mbps To repeat this test from the source server (and further depress yourself at the thought of how much you are paying for a "service") click here. Fu**ing astounding!! Does anyone know any other ways of throwing money down the drain? The name is Angry....Mr Angry. |

I tend to stay away from web based speed tests as the file is so small you don't really get a true speed test.
