Hi all

Can anyone register a ******.org name as someone told me once they were only for reg charities !

Any ideas

No, anyone can register them - they're just for organisations - not specifically charity ones.

...and there's lots of places you can register them... hint hint :) :angel:

No, if you want to register one, register it - there's nothing to stop you doing it - there are lots out there done by single individuals... all I'm saying is they are primarily for organisations, same way .com is primarily for businesses

you should get sent an e-mail with details on how you can log into your user account with the registrar & do things like point it at a host DNS in order to use your domain as a website.

Well, my company (the link is in my sig) - does a years reg of .org for £5.50...

Glad I did not buy it from Wanadoo becuase they wanted £58.75 for 2 years.
