geforce fx5900 256mb

Asus, Leadtek, MSI and Creative are all doing these for about £400. Is there any real difference between these cards and their performance or are they much the same? Anyone know?

Go for the Leadtek, the performance differences are nominal but I've found Leadtek is normally better quality and offers a better software bundle.

Doesn't matter, I had a Gigabyte Radeon 9700 pro on a Gigabyte 7VAXP motherboard and there were no speed or stability differences when I swapped to a Chaintec Nforce 2 motherboard.

Wow, those go for about 320 pounds here.

I'd get a Radeon instead... :) The 9800 Pro 256MB looks very nice, and they go for about 290 pounds here.

If thats how you think they are meant to be played you would be horrified to discover the specs of the hardware thye are written on.

Ramrod 21-08-2003 21:52

Is this any good. Considering that it's made by a company I've never heard of......but the price is good:)

For my money NVidia outstrips Ati any & every day

Remember, Nvidia are the people behind the NForce Chipset

I have used NVidia chipset graphics cards for Many years and have no complaints whatsoever :) Fast, smooth, reliable, graphics engine is awesome, what more can I say?

Also, if you have a TFT monitor with an auto setup button, they have a flat panel calibration screen in their drivers :)
