What Happened On the Day Your Were Born?
 

I have just been digging through my book collection, and found a book called 'the year i was born.'

It led me to wonder what happened on the day other people were born... so if you know... or can find out... post it here! see who had the most exciting birthday!

On the day i was born... York Minster was struck by lightning, smoking was banned on London Underground, and it was the hottest day of 1984 (which is weird cos my sister was born on the coldest day of 1981!)

how about anyone else...

Well not a lot happened on my exact b\day but on July 2nd through history there was a huge list, here are just a few :)

Seems July 2 has a history of battles, explains a lot :D

nope! my mother said the day i was born was the best day of her life!!

actually that is a lie... she used to always tell me that i was an accident :cry:

I can only think of 2 things..........

1989 - Hillsborough Disaster
1912 - Titanic sunk
