Agreed, although when I first saw the post, I wondered if you were talking to Bopdude...

My worst songs:

Everything I do, I do it for you by Bryan Adams (actually liked his stuff until this was played dawn till dusk on Capital FM).

Barbie Girl by Aqua (is it me, or does Ken sound very sinister in this record)
The Teletubbies, Mr Blobby (both should be shot)
Anything by Westlife..

Further to my list (not that I am bitter and twisted or anything)..

Anything by Will Young, Gareth Gates or the new Pop Idol (Michelle) or those two runners up for Pop Idol.. Not to mention that God awful song by (the thankfully now split up) One True Voice.

Definitely all take a lot of beating. And for those who don't know of them, think yourself lucky that you are so young that they escaped your sensitive ears. :disturbd:

Trouble is there are just soooo many to choose from. Birdy Song, Most of the "funny" Christmas novelty tunes - Postman Pat, Teletubbies, Orville the duck(worryingly had to buy two of those for my Mum as pressents in the past :Yikes: )

Going back in time: Terry Wogan's Floral Dance :td: (had to suffer that for weeks as a youngster as my parents loved his breakfast show)

However a great deal of the chart stuff today is to me quite awful too.

Have to agree with you on the majority of this manufactured reality pop. However, some of Will Young's stuff recently, now that he's getting a bit of freedom to develop his style away from the formula stuff, is quite reasonable.

Nik Kershaw wrote that you know. Funny since his own albums to be Frank and 15 minutes are both fantastic with great lyrics.

How about

ermmmm anything by coldplay, its enough to make you cut your wrists.

Most dancy, chart and R&B that has absolutly nothing to do with R&B music.

I got to admit though that the one song I really really really really detest is ****ing Dancing queen by ABBA, I'm sick to death of hearing ****ed up women singing it.
1) your not 17
2) you are usually ugly
and
3) you cant ****ing sing!!!!
