Not official Microsoft software so i refuse to trust something that is simply "given away" with absolutely no benefit to the programmer (even though his site must gobble through his cash on the amount of bandwidth).

Something is dodgy!

TigaSefi 04-07-2003 10:13

It has optional sponsor program on the installation, just say u don't want it. That how he makes his money.

If your gonna install this then remember to not install this sponser!

Its a pain if you do, beleave me ;) But he's got to make his money someway.

Wot, and you do trust M$ when they 'give' something away with absolutely no benefit to the programmer?

Some people are in IT to make $$$$$. Others do it 'cos it's fun.

If you went along with that it would mean no linux, no openoffice, there is lots of freeware on the net!!! Guess some people are just nice and consider it a challange to create this software!!!

Like the other people said dont install the sponser prog!!!

Ceers

Steve H 05-07-2003 18:19

Same here - Though, I cant Click Links in MSN.. Any Idea's?

Martin 06-07-2003 12:23

Do the links show up as links or they just writing? I can't think off the top of my head if you can turn hyper links off in the chat window, but seem to think you can, I might be thinking of a chat room though.
