Hi

I have the above phone but have lost the instructions !!!! Does anyone know if they are on the net or how to set the phone so you can listen to the caller when they are leaving a message.

Don't know if they're on the net, but to turn call screening on you need to press menu, scroll through to get to "ans menu", then scroll through to "screen" and choose "on"

I'm sure I've got a set of these, what do you want to know?

I don't know how to clone the address book between handsets or reset the answerphone to factory default (once recorded over, you must do your own?) but apart from that...

Our d5100 has stopped recording when it auto-answers.

Pls can anyone suggest what to do ?

Firstly

The answerphone can be turned on or off from the handset, the status is indicated by one of the green lights. I am not too sure where the messages are stored - in the handset or the base unit, you could try resetting the base unit by unplugging the mains adaptor, waiting 30 seconds and powering up, or at risk of losing your address book you could try taking the battery out and replacing and re-syncing with the base unit.

Not sure but I think it is 0000 or 000000.

I just bought a set of 2 D5100 phones today and like most people, I can't find a manual anywhere. Unless of course I want to pay £15 for one, pahhh!!! £15 for a manual? no chance. The phones cost me less than this. I found this manual for a NTL VS2000. Itâ₠¬ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â‚¬Å¾Ã‚¢s a different model but the instructions work as most of the buttons are the same, they are just arranged differently

Can anyone tell me how to disable the caller ID withheld function, please?
I set my ntl d5100 handset to withhold my number when I first got it years ago. It's no longer a very helpful feature and makes it difficult with friends and family who screen out caller ID withheld.
Not sure what happened to the instruction manual and tried going through everything on the menu but couldn't find anything that would change it.
I'd be grateful for any suggestions.

I think you dial 1470 before you dial to reveal your number.

If you want to switch it off permanately you have to phone VM and get them to disable it.
