He's probably requested asylum in France the same as previous middle-east trouble-makers...
|
Re: Is Bin Laden Dead?
Nahhhh he's living in north manchester with sat tv and all the trimmings curtesy of the tax payer :p:
|
Re: Is Bin Laden Dead?
I thought he delivered my takeout
|
Re: Is Bin Laden Dead?
well if its true then finally :) and yes I do trust the french intelligence services more then say the CIA.
|
Re: Is Bin Laden Dead?
France do have a good inteligence service in Africa and the Middle East dont they?
Btw, If true he died on my birthday. |
Re: Is Bin Laden Dead?
If he is dead don't you think it would be in certain people's interests to suppress the news? Personally I have no idea if there is any truth in this story although I believe that one of the complications of typhoid is kidney failure and I believe I am right in saying that he was already on dialysis, also if it is true it does sound like he endured a particularly slow and agonising death and if that is the case perhaps justice may have been done.

Looks like his son is dead, sad thing is pops is probably pleased about it, the only reward he'll be getting is an un marked hole in the ground, no virgins for him

Funnily enough neither Gordon Brown nor Barack Obama seem to believe enough in "Western Democracy" to the point that they themselves might ever be driven through the streets of Wootton Bassett in a hearse having sacrificed themselves for their political / religious beliefs. You might want to think about that the next time a young man or woman is repatriated having been cut down fighting in the name of "Western democracy". |

Not a claim Bin Laden can make. |
Re: Is Bin Laden Dead?
Is he dead probably will we get confirmation not a chance the americans have the biggest reason to keep that truth well hidden and if needs be i am sure a video will be forthcoming soon from him just to show us all he is alive somewhere and still a threat mailed to aljazeera via langley, virginia, united states.

Re: Is Bin Laden Dead?

So, because you think they (Brown & Obama) don't send them out there to "purposely kill themselves in the hope of taking a few of the enemy with them" that makes it OK? Much as it galls me to say it - at least Bin Laden is up front and clear about why he expects his followers to die. Whether the perceived "reward" for self sacrifice is virgins in heaven or a posthumous service medal the one constant is death. |
Re: Is Bin Laden Dead?
i wonder when his next video daybue is, anyway i hope he is. is that how you spell daybue? lol

Re: Is Bin Laden Dead?
All I know is that the more we are seen to argue the rights and wrongs of the present wars we give hope and succour to the Taliban,Bin Laden and their supporters that they are having an effect on our morale and that they are actually winning..whatever they think they are winning..
Personally beyond hoping that the whole pile of them are living with dysentery and boils and in misery I have no intention of paying them any more attention than is absolutely necessary.. I think they have already done their worse in pitting us against each other and driving a wedge between us and the Muslim world and in particular our British born Muslim young men and women.:( |
Re: Is Bin Laden Dead?
Unfortunately if Ozzy Binlid is dead, it really wont make a tuppence difference to the insane, death worshipping islamofascists that he attracts (like flies to a fresh cow turd I must add). He turned his own personal brand of religiously inspired hate-mongering, into a world wide terrorist franchise (with multiple branches in a city near you, or comming soon!).
My only hope, is that when he finally does pop his clogs, someone finds his body and feeds it to a heard of swine.... :D |

Or it could be they have more local knowledge and contacts, who would rather talk to their own countrypeople?
|
Re: Is Bin Laden Dead?
Bin laden has kidney problems in 2002, so I begin to wonder if a man with those health problems living in a cave could be alive today.
|
Re: Is Bin Laden Dead?
Really, the bloke is a myth I tell you, he really does not exist at all.
Bloody infadels. |
Re: Is Bin Laden Dead?
Benazir Bhutto said he was dead in an interview with David Frost, look what happened to her ;) Bin Laden is the 'face of terror' our Government and the US need people to believe he's alive.

Almost certainly brown bread.
If he wasn't he'd have been on al jazeera every other week taking the ****. But, as mentioned, it doesn't matter if he exists or not - what he symbolises does exist. |
Re: Is Bin Laden Dead?
I reckon he is dead. He was in poor health at the time and this is now 8/9 years on, in this time he would have been unable to get access to any responsible health care and the evading of those looking for him would have taken their toll.
It seems quite likely he was killed around the time of the Americans bombing the mountains near Pakistan. I am not sure the American's would cover it up though. I can imagine Bush and co doing so but not so much Obama. He has little to gain from stirring the terrorism pot. Unless he doesn't know. More likely is the Americans suspect he is dead but can't be sure. |

I'd say Osama being dead would be bad news for the USA's plans for world domination ;)
|
Re: Is Bin Laden Dead?
I think the USA plans for world domination are scuppered now anyway, China is the next contender.
|
Re: Is Bin Laden Dead?
I don't know if he is dead or alive i would put money on him being dead personally but i can fully see why the US would cover up his death or should i say elements within the US would. Before all this terrorist hysteria kicked off the US military was facing significant cuts in it's budget along comes osama and wollah budgets don't get cut they get increased.

As I have said in the past, it no longer matters whether Ozzy Binlid is dead or alive.... He has turned his own brand of Islamic Fascism into a franchise, for which he is the face (kinda like Col. Saunders is for KFC). If the yanks stuck a JDAM up his arse tomorrow, and turned the freak into porno-confetti, his death worshiping adherents would still be trying to kill us....

Bin Laden had major health problems years ago so dont know how he could be alive living in a cave. He is dead. The Bin Laden you see on tapes is a CIA lookalike.

There is a huge area of Pakistan (Waziristan) just below Hindu Kush which is a lawless mostly Taliban sympathizer area where he could quite easily have been staying and receiving treatment for his ailments. Remember the guy probably still has access to huge funds so i`m sure getting the facilities and treatment aren`t a problem. As for the guy in the videos being a CIA lookalike are you having a laugh  Personally i don`t know if it matters that much if he`s alive or dead, suddenly announcing that he is dead is not going to bring the troubles going on to a grinding halt! |

Re: Is Bin Laden Dead?
So much hogwash in the news media and on the Internet, and what with the fog of war (and lies of our leaders), we'll never know.
How many people thought Hitler was still alive, or that the Saddam they executed was a 'lookalike'? I'm sure there are 'people' who are privy to the facts, but they don't seem to filter down to the man in the street any more. (Not that any of it has bugger all to do with us anyway) |

I'd personally say he was dead. I think if he were alive then we would be seeing more terrorist incidents in the UK. unless there's going to be a great big one they're working on.

Re: Is Bin Laden Dead?
personally, I wouldn't be surprised at all if Bin Laden died a long time ago, but the US need a figure of hate - a face of terrorism if you will - in order that the public continue to feel that they are justified to still occupy Afganistan and surrounding areas. If think we are all aware that oil plays a major part in the US forces being there. yes, there are insurgent forces there too, but these are groups of people who are not terrorists, they are simply trying to fight the occupation (and I don't use that word lightly - what the US is doing there IS an occupation by definition). much the same as in the second world war, there was the French Resistance. Natives trying to force out the occupying forces. in this case, those forces are US/UK lead.
imo. ---------- Post added at 16:09 ---------- Previous post was at 15:55 ---------- if i might also add - I am not saying the forces are wrong for doing what they are doing. they are not the decision makers in all this - the governments are. the forces are simply following the orders of those in authority. although I might not agree with the reasoning for them being there, I still hold them in great respect for the job they do. they are braver men and women than I am. |
