Just had an email from a site thats saying its ntl telewest and the mail is asking for mods!!!! lmao this is the link to it I wonder if its just spam or if someones seen me here.If that is the case has anyone else had the email? http://www.members.tripod.com/<deleted>/ <<<the site with forums lol

Absolutely no way that this is a legit ntl: telewest thing, the date for the latest news is 6 March 2006 (before the merger if I remember rightly anyway) and I really cannot see them promoting this:

This is just a spam effort by some bod out on the net. I've edited Zingle's initial link so the spammer (not Zingle ;) )doesn't get benefit. As this has nothing to do with CF, it's also moved to Internet Discussion.

Ive just had it again on my yahoo account

does the fact someone has used my addresses I supply here to spam me and a few others (possibly more on the way) mean it does now have something to do with cf ?

My guess is that he has registered on here, gone through looking for email addresses in the profile and just sent it out. He registrered yesterday on here by the looks of it.
