Ibuy and Yes 661 no longer on Ntl

Ntl have connections with Price-drop and bidtv and say that Ibuy is a competitor and have taken it of there channel line up.

NTL Customer Notice
With much sadness we have to let you know that iBuy will no longer be available on ntl. We would like to continue to offer you excellent value through ntl but this is a decision ntl have taken, not iBuy – it is out of our control.

The good news is we will continue to broadcast on Sky digital, on channel 631 and 632, and on our website via www.ibuy.tv.

We hope that you will continue to shop with us via www.ibuy.tv or Sky. We are bringing some exciting new ranges and products later this year and hope that you will continue to take advantage of the excellent iBuy offers.

If you are unhappy with ntl’s decision, please feel free to contact them directly by writing to NTL House, Bartley Wood Business Park, Bartley Way, Hook, Hampshire, RG27 9UP, or calling 0800 1832222.

Keep on looking on this side – soon you will be able to subscribe to a newsletter which will provide you with the freshest and hottest information about upcoming offers, specials and shows. iBuy – a great buy
Any idea why Yes661 have gone from the channel line up

:welcome: to the forum.

In fairness to NTL, they have said nothing of the sort. It is ibuy who are saying that (although NTL do own their competitors).

As for Yes661, I have no idea.. Sorry.

Yes661 was like the poor relation of the shopping channels and it really showed in the quailty of the picture etc.

I just Googled it and it is still being shown on Sky

Oh and welcome to the forum :)

Being re-branded as a price-crash channel by what I saw on Google.

As much as I won't miss the demise of another shopping channel, its slightly disturbing that NTL's Digital TV line up seems to shrink over time rather than grow !

Re: Ibuy and Yes 661 no longer on Ntl

It is in fact growing because we now have Gems TV 1 and 2

As opposed to those other, high-quality shopping channels that are well worth watching? ;)

<snip>

I found it amusing.
I liked the fact that the yes price was so stupidly huge so the "crash" price seemed so unbelievable.

:D

Yikes, I'm all cut up about any shopping channel leaving NTL's line-up - I'll just have to find solace in the bottom of a glass now instead.

My life is no longer worth living.

Derek, there are support groups for people like you and me in this position, known as pubs. They have 'medication' varying from Stout, Bitter, Lager and Cider (fruit based drink for the ladies). Theres even stronger 'medication' in the form of 'optics', which help you to see more clearly.

Its your round.

* For the Chav's -- Please drink sensibly, you muppets.

Re: Ibuy and Yes 661 no longer on Ntl

ntl does seem to be removing a few channels as this follows the loss of The Dating Channel. Granted these are minor channels which won't be massively missed but I wodner if they will chop a more major channel at some point?

Re: Ibuy and Yes 661 no longer on Ntl

maybe they are sorting the wheat from the chaff, so they can put new (good) channels on, i doubt it, it's probably to bring ntl inline with TW but wishfull thinking...
