Called TS and guess what - they blamed it on my router lol. But I know better. Id be annoyed if I couldnt play CSS. lol. But gaming has been A OK so have newsgroups. From my tracrt its something to do with a cosh-cache2 something, theres more in another thread. |
Re: Broadband Down in Emsworth
I'm in PO5 area too, I thought I was running dialup too since I started up this morning and its supposed to be 1mb...
Called TS, i have 20-70% packet loss on uploads apparently, but as I was having the same probs as mentioned above I switched over from ethernet (in case my lan port was bad) TO USB and although its a -bit- better its still not like it should be. I've just come from AOL as well, which was actually quicker :/ |

Re: Broadband Down in Emsworth
Guys this has gone a bit off topic.
The guy who started the thread totally lost internet service, not just saw a slow down. He also lost his TV service. http://www.cableforum.co.uk/board/sh...ad.php?t=46082 Is dealing with the performance problems in the Cosham / Havant / Portsmouth / Gosport / Horndean kinda area. EDIT: As you can probably see it's a fairly large area this is affecting, so comparing performance on a street by street basis probably isn't worth it ;) |
Re: Broadband Down in Emsworth
