This game is out on Friday (Just put my order in for it!) Who else on the forum is getting this ? Should be a good LiVE game to have in the collection.

I've already seen ppl in the UK playing this last night. Getting it. Finally opened SSX3 which is a good laugh as an arcadey snowboard game. Amped2 should provide a nice heavy does of realism!

:D amped 2 is gonnnnna rule !! I just recieved a load of cd's i ordered for my birthday today so they will be getting ripped onto my xbox then i can pick and choose what track to listen to with the white button in 5.1 in all its glory :D

i got this from Dixons last Saturday and its excellent. i really enjoy it. feels the same as Amped until you try to trick, then you struggle to make any points. its only when you've gone through the tutorial and also read the style section of the manual that you are able to really start tricking properly. Slowly. Less is more. Trust me, read the manual and do the tutorial. Particularly the style section.

also, you need to play offline in Career mode to build up your stats so that you can trick better. unlike amped, there are no factory riders. you need to build your own. by default, he's talentless. concentrate on Big Air, Spins n Flips, and Balance. Without balance you can't link tricks with butter. Without Big Air and Spins, you can't pull of slow stylish tricks without burying your head in the snow.

online with 8 players, its still silky. plays very well. its lovely to just follow someone down a run, tricking off the same things they do, kinda in formation.

you're gonna love it.

Only upto a point. You can still grind along the cable car cables. And I'm pretty sure you can't butter on a real board. but yes, on the whole, its pretty realistic. I'm still lovin' it.

Its Friday - and I'm still waiting for Amped 2 to turn-up in the Post. Look's like it will arrive tomorrow now ! :(

Doing some trade-ins before going home from work to get it. Nice long 4-pint lunch, hope I remember to get a good price for my 10 or so trade-ins.

Also a mate (who happens to be a regular snowboarder) has decided to buy an Xbox and afew games just cause of Amped2. Hopefully I'll be convincing him to get on Live as well. Another PC gamer into the fold.

This game is truly amazing :D Its a bit like topspin in that you must work on single player to have any chance of winning anything as your guy starts out really really really crap.

Was in northern Ireland for the week and i got amped2 there but had to wait till i got back home to play it.A great game,alot better then the first one.

Iam now ranked 120 out of 250. My god your guy gets so much better the more you play this game, the guy you start off with is uber crap and you need to use him on live :(

I know how you feel Reddevil, got this on sat and have spent more time off the board than on it, although i am now ranked 245 out of 250 :p

A few of us will have to get together, maybe sometime this week? :tu:

Because I was playing offline split-screen and system-link. :D

I've got my TopSpin character sorted now. Will start working on Amped character this week.
