Why can't electronics manufacturer's recognise that boxes need to be properly rectangular so we can stack them all.

Getting the games console, DVD, STB, VCR, scart extender, etc packed in around the TV is becoming an impossibility. :mad:

I suppose it does stop people putting other bits of kit on top of it if it has a curved top.

It's not bad I suppose. Would look good in a glass stand next to an Xbox 360 under a whopping great LCD panel.

Possibly this is exactly their reasoning. Not only is the top curved, the buttons are on the top too. Thefore it has to sit on the top of any stack. Clever marketing, perhaps?

I think the Sky HD box has something on the top of it as well to ensure that it has to be top of the stack for any hardware.

At the end of the day it will have to be fit for the job no matter what it looks like.Very nice for those of us with the minimalist look to our living room and who keep their place scrupulously tidy but...in the tip that is my living room 85% of the time?And what is the present fixation on blue lights?Everywhere you look people are using blue lights..used to be an indication of the rozzers when I was kid. ;)

Anyway it would compete with my ceramic sculptures if I even wanted Sky. :D

Thought they weren't installing them till early next year.
