Which Modem do you have ?
 

I thought it would be interesting to find out what percentage of people on NTL Broadband and use this forum, use which modem.

Yes as i said in my edited post that was my plan. However i backspaced to change something and it got messed up.

Is it possible for me to add a poll now? If so how? Otherwise would a mod do it for me.

ntl:100 at 10Mb (and yes, i'm getting the full 10Mb speeds)

ive got a STB and a modem can use either but cant vote for 2.

Looks like I am in the minority at the mo. I have had an SB3100 since ntl offered a 64K trial with free modem many years ago. Poor thing only has a 10mb ethernet port.

So did I. So I found out. Really quite interesting - I'll be checking my list against the results of this poll. You've forgotten the Business modems, but that's pedantic of me.

Got a 250 today, had a 100 before that and had loads of rebooting problems

A nice new NTL 250 after finding mine had been cloned thay changed it next day and stuck me on 10 meg. :woot: :woot:

had the samsung for a few years, before that I had the pace,then breifly had the ntl 200, but am now on the new ntl 250 which is working great! :)

Ambit NTL Home 100 here.
Yes, I own one of the old ones....... who knows it may become a collecotrs item.
Currently on 1mb so not a problem but will probably get it changed whenever they decide to get us upped to 10mb.

I like the NTL 100. The nice silverish deisgn and flashing lights.
A friend of mine has one about half that size and its a tiny little black box that looks cheap and tacky.

I actually like it. And that little dark blue modem is what you will endup with if you want to have 10mbit at full speed. :)

As I'm on 1mb. And the 10mb upgrade to lower speed services won't begin until 2006.
Only 3mb services are being upgraded at the moment and I cant afford that price right now.

I don't like it. I've had people tell me they have bugs in the software and are typically cr*p.

Would it be an idea to do another poll for those on 10Mb and are getting 10Mb speeds?

See what modems give the full 10Mb, SB4100 does for me.
