Broadband Plus

I have just tried accessing Broadband Plus because I was aware that it was now free for people on 2,3 & 10MB. When I tried to access any of the content (excluding the BBC) it says I needed to upgrade to get BB Plus for free. I have 2MB so I shouldn't need to.

Interestingly, when we receive a bill its still down as 750k - could this be the problem?

Best to ring CS on Monday, I've upgraded from 2 meg and now on full 10, and it tells me same thing about upgrading when trying to access broadband plus

Re: Broadband Plus

You cannot have broadband plus if you are on the 10MB service!

I upgraded from 2MB to the 3MB but got the new speed of 10MB and was told I get BB Plus for free as I upgraded my speed but it was removed by NTL's security dept. as BB plus acording to them is not available to 10MB customers only 1,2 & 3MB customers even though the 10Mb is classed as 3Mb!

I was told they would have to lower me to the 3MB speed if I wanted it!

You can guess my answer to that!

Re: Broadband Plus

Just tried it, and it went via the 'free for 2,3 and 10MB customers' to the registration page, so it does appear to be free for such customers (on 3MB here).

Re: Broadband Plus

What link do you use to get into it? the two links on the NTL homepage take me to my above link.

Is it possibly something to do with my firewall/pop-up blocker

---------- added 27-11-2005 at 19:58 ----------

I've got in I have disabled by pop up blocker, so a bit of playing is required

It'll be your popup blocker David. When the link you posted loads there is a popup window.

Believe you have to CLICK the ENTER BROADBAND PLUS red Button at the top which takes you to this page so you can signup for free (not signed up though).

Missing something here. Your link SEEMS to be identical to SnoopZ's, but if I click on his, the links say 'Buy NTL Broadband', if I click on yours, they say 'Enter Broadband Plus'!!

Re: Broadband Plus

I have just done that and now have access - there must be some sort of license agreement you have to adhere to :)

your right JohnHorb... So the correct link is:-

http://bbplus.ntlworld.com/broadband...adbandpluscust

Which then takes you to the Signup Page:-

Hi. The link you put goes to the front page of Braodband Plus which has no links to listen to Music Choice or anything else. Please can you tell me where I get access to the actual links of the audio streams? Thanks.
