I'm on about the fact that when you originally posted the link, it was pointing at www.microsoft.com. Obviously you spotted that and changed it very quickly, so both it and my quote of it point where you intended. But it did originally point at M$. Please be big enough to admit it!

Now it points at an info page at ntlworld, the whole thing is a lot clearer, thank you. But I notice that when you posted your first link two days ago (without any explanation) you decided to ignore my request for more details then. I don't understand why you are reluctant to communicate anything more than a handful of words at a time. Is your keyboard in danger of wearing out?

Yes the link was wrong,it was changed within 5 secs of the thread starting I can asure you it was not pointing to www.microsoft.com,it was infact pointing to nothing but a page cannot be displayed.

Ther is a very good reason why the full info was held back,and no I am not going to explain why.

I shall in future tho think twice before posting anything. :mad:

What exactly do you expect when you post nothing but a link, with no explanation as to what it's about. You're lucky it wasn't just removed.

Ok time to sign off from this forum me thinks,

All I have done is posted very usefull information for ntl users,but it seems the admin on this forum are not happy with it.
Are you sure ntl dont own this forum,I am starting to have my doubts.

I'm guessing that the link contained 2 "html://" sections, if that happens and firefox picks up on it the link will re-direct to the MS homepage. I've had it happen a few times now when people post links without double checking what pasted in.
I can understand you getting frustrated but the team are right, you posted nothing but a link with no further information, more often than not they get deleted if people haven't a clue what they are supposed to be about. If you were refraining from posting further info because the information wasn't in public domain then really you should have thought twice about posting the link in the first place until the information was available to all.

I would like to know why NTL are wasting money duplicating services that are already in the public domain, have they nothing better to do with our subs? if not, I would appreciate a little back in the way of a price drop?

this used to be such a friendly place......;)

Basically you can work out what the quick links is going to be yourself, it is going to be a small portal for customers to " quickly " get to many of the more commonly used features & services within Ntlworld.com...

It will come as part of the new disk, which is massive improvement on the last one, & will install, a quick link icon, for it be accessed from the task bar..

Lets just say its probably going to be aimed at newbies, & not seasoned users....:angel:
