I got so bored today I made a new avatar.I then got to wondering where do you all get your avatars?Do you make your own or is there place where you go to get a new one whenever you feel like a change?

Have several, the one I use here I saw on a site while looking for dragon pics for a possible tattoo (yet to get it) might change it now and then but then again I am lazy;)

My avatar? Keeps changing..... at the moment it's a photo of me.... a slightly photoshopped photo of me :D
Why a photo of me? Am i that vain? My friends would say no.... but in truth, i have so many awful photos of me and have been the butt of many a 'minger' joke in the past... that i created an image that i actually liked and thought Sod it!! Post and be damned ;)
Will change it again soon no doubt.... as soon as i get bored with it.... which is about nowish :D

My Avatar was produced using ULEAD Cool3D. It provides 3D modelling with the ability to control lighting and texture and performs in-betweening between key frames. Imagine 'Persistance of Vision' or 'Raydream Designer' crossed with 'Macromedia Flash' style timeline control. It's a bit of a monster to get to grips with at first, but now i love it to bits. (I don't work for ULEAD :D )

I suddenly realised I have changed my avatar since last posting in the thread.

Obviously my current one is a 'mini me' shamelessly obtained by the print screen & crop method from Msn (£1.50 - no way;) )

Actually, many moons ago on dotcom, I used to have a photo of a real terminator. It was the first picture I came across on my HDD that was bold and easily recognisable. Then came the strapline.

A mate of mine was, for quite a while, unemployed. He's in the 'multimedia' business so I slipped him a few quid to come up with this one. I know it took several different programs (and a lot of cursing) but I'm not sure which ones (programs not curses).
