It amazing how many ppl want True Crimes game. In Gamesradar, it been gettin' a lot of bad word of mouth among the forum users and some ppl have claimed it be badly programmed and the camera angle is rubbish etc but I think most ppl are on a case of Wait and see......

I was referring more to the supposedly (I say 'supposedly' cause I haven't played it yet, but judging by reviews it looks to be the case) unrealistic snow-boarding that SSX3 has versus Amped2, not necessarily the publisher.

IC, unbelievable though it may seem to you, I have bought EA games.

If you want to start an argument thread over my opinions go ahead (I'm sure to everyone's despair), but do it in a different thread, this one is about games coming out and that are going to be bought, or so I thought?

A quick review of SSX3 & AMPED 2 (Courtesy of OXBM Issue 23)

SSX3 - This is one small step for snowboarding titles, unfortuneately, instead of one giant leap for the SSX series. Score 7.9//10

AMPED 2 - A vast improvement on the original, this is the definitive extreme sports title of the year, aided by fantastic Live play. Score 8.9//10

Anyway while im having fun in 1080 white stor, you lot can all be playing an average snowboarding game, that one redemining feature is LIVE play :rolleyes:

Hey hey, OXM is good - it has good demos - like PGR2! and some very ncie reviews this month for top spin, pgr2 ranbow 6 and XIII! :D

Well most reviews and normal people who have played have said its excellent and very much like virtual tennis but better!!! :D I cant wait!!!

Yeah, I don't trust official mags either.

I only generally trust reviews in unofficial or multi-format mags. Edge (sadly not as good as it used to be), Arcade (sadly dead :( ) & Digitiser (also sadly dead :( ) were usually ones I trusted the most.

You choking on the fact that it might be good? A number of people at the BxB LAN last weekend had a go at it and we're very impressed (fanboy and non-fanboy alike). From what I saw it looked good. Jar, will see you online with that soon. :D

I think I know the one you mean, but I can't think of the name. (hmm, no help there then.)

From what I've heard, it is meant to be quite similar to Virtua Tennis. Which can only be a good thing :)
