Hotmail problems?
Can't access my email- the page when you enter your details comes up and it's "loading" the page, but nothing is coming up. Messenger is fine. Any ideas what to do? Changed proxy but still no luck.
|
Re: Hotmail problems?
Two PCs here can't access it either, must be a problem @ their end.
|
Re: Hotmail problems?
sign in somewhere else and follow links to get to your hotmail.
I sometimes get this, it may just be because there is a lot of traffic on the server your hotmail resides on. or it could be a proxy issue. ik |
Re: Hotmail problems?
I had a strange problem with my msn yesterday - it wouldn't let me in cos it said I had tried to access it with the wrong password too many times.
Does that mean someone is trying to get into my hotmail? |
Re: Hotmail problems?
I had a phishing site up the other day prompting me to sign in with my .net passport p/w.
|
Re: Hotmail problems?

Not working for me either, nor is Incredimail picking up Hotmail Messages either. :(
|
Re: Hotmail problems?
wot annoys me is you recieve a message saying you have mail from hotmail admin then you cant open the damm thing :))
|
Re: Hotmail problems?
I think it depends which server your account is on. Cos 2 of my accounts work, one doesnt
|
Re: Hotmail problems?
Both me and my wife have had problems signing into hotmail all week i have found at certain times of the day there is that much traffic at there end you can't get on.
And lets not all forget hotmail is part of windows and as such has released 2 updates to the service as i know of so it will have more bugs in it than a rainforest |

Could be that someone has a very similar hotmail username to yours, and is trying to use your name to login without realising it. |
Re: Hotmail problems?
Hotmail still isnt working for me, on either of my accounts. Its getting very annoying now as it hasent been working all day!

Please use this thread to continue to discuss the hotmail issues being experienced by all.

Re: Hotmail problems?
Yey, my thread is the sole survivor! lol
Still not hotmail here. It's annoying me now cos I can see the message headers via MSN Messenger  |
Re: Hotmail problems?
My usual trick of re-starting the computer hasn't worked either :mis:
Upside is, I don't get any "junk" mail :D :tu: |
Re: Hotmail problems?
Earlier, I noticed that I wasn't even able to log into MSN Messenger - just kept on informing me that it couldn't log me on "at this time".
Came back to the PC about 5 minutes later and tried again - it worked!! I now have two emails sitting waiting on me - problem is (as many have said previously) I cant access them!! Once again, we have to bare with Hotmail until they sort out their Server problems!! Hope they are quick about it - I remember similar problems last year and it took them almost a week to solve it!! Re: Hotmail problems?
So everyone comes to rely on services like hotmail, which needs users to generate advertising revenue that pays for the service. However, if users get the service for free, do they have any grounds for complaint that the free service has failed?

Re: Hotmail problems?
Ok
One solution I have found to this is to change the number in the address bar mine is "http://by104fd.bay104" at the begining, try changine the number (104 in this case) to another number, My g/f hotmail was 101, which didnt work, she changed that to 103 and it worked |

A side note - once its loaded once, using 103 isnetad of 101 (in my case) it now seems to laod and work fine with the 101 in the address...? At least it works! :) |

On topic- it has been down. We got messaged at work saying "if anyone rings with Hotmail problems it's Hotmail and their PCs/internet connection are fine" If it's working now they've sorted it. |

Msn
Anyone else having trouble with hotmail today? It seems to open at a glacial pace, if at all and it's impossible access it other than via messenger and even that is failing now. MSN groups don't seem to open properly either and I'm wondering if it's a local problem or more nationwide. My pc seems ok, all other sites working fine.
|
Re: Msn
Yes tonight my MSN has been signing in and out all night lets hope they are just working on the servers and not that MSN has reached melt down.

|
Re: [Merged] Hotmail, MSN problems
Well now I can get into it and send and receive e mails, but when I hit Sign Out it no longer takes me to msn's homepage. It takes me to the Microsoft Net Passport "sign in" screen. This has only just started happening, is anyone else experiencing this? All a bit strange really.

Re: [Merged] Hotmail, MSN problems
Well I did sign in using it, and it took me to an MSN accounts page and from there I went to customer services so it seems genuine. Is nobody else getting this page when they sign out then?
