The most fun you can have with a magnet...

Check out the magnets for sale on the following site;

http://www.unitednuclear.com/magnets.htm

I especially like the warning that comes with the last one on the page. :shocked: How on earth can they send that to you without taking out half of Royal Mail?

If you really need an unbelievably powerful magnet, here it is.
Uses include magnetic steering of nuclear particles in homemade accelerators, magnetic beam amplifiers, etc.
Well, doesn't everyone have a particle accelerator in their cellar or garage? I knocked mine up from an old washer and a few rolls of tin foil from Tesco.

I bet the various world security services would be very interested in their customer list :disturbd:

Loose metallic objects and other magnets may become airborne and fly considerable distances - and at great speed - to attach themselves to this magnet.
:erm: :disturbd:

That same website also sells uranium & heavy water :Yikes:

Caution: Grinding or filing will produce small particles that ignite on contact with air producing radioactive smoke. Finely divided Uranium particles can ignite spontaneously.

But think of the postage costs of heavy water compared to ordinary water.

If you really need an unbelievably powerful magnet, here it is.
Uses include magnetic steering of nuclear particles in homemade accelerators, magnetic beam amplifiers, etc. Beware - you must think ahead when moving this magnet.
If carrying it into another room, carefully plan the route you will be taking. Computers & monitors will be affected in an entire room. Loose metallic objects and other magnets may become airborne and fly considerable distances - and at great speed - to attach themselves to this magnet. If you get caught in between the two, you can get injured.
We can only ship this magnet by ground UPS - it cannot be shipped via air as it will interfere with the aircraft's navigational equipment.

Gimme one :D
