Re: Evri and DHL to Merge
Great! Customs are going to love this. How long before AliExpress drop Evri. Unless of course China cracks down on false declarations. DHL are good at ignoring those attempts. This isn't going to be popular.

Re: Evri and DHL to Merge
Evri will always be Herpes to me. The drivers themselves are usually (and I stress that word) ok but the way the whole company runs is awful.
When I buy something from eBay then find out Herpes will be ‘delivering’ it my heart sinks. Here’s hoping DHL will bring them up to their level and not vice versa. |
Re: Evri and DHL to Merge
Evri’s logo looks like an actual ransom note. I wonder whether merging with DHL will make them any more inclined to actually deliver people’s stuff.

Re: Evri and DHL to Merge
In Evri’s case, your postcode is just another lottery number

They'll probably deliver their contracts to UPS to sign lol

Re: Evri and DHL to Merge
To be fair Evri and Amazon tend to leave parcels in unsafe locations. The trick is to play the game back at them. Report lost and give them feedback accordingly. They normally state workload as an excuse but it's not my fault they are doing a job they can't handle. They do however manage to deliver in the ETA and Evri take a picture.

Re: Evri and DHL to Merge
2 online companies we use have switched from EVRI to Parcelforce as they had so many complaints about lost or delayed deliveries. Since then, everything has been fine in our case.

Re: Evri and DHL to Merge
With all of these companies, so much depends on who your driver is. If you get a good one locally, things will be good. But you can usually tell if you don’t have a regular driver, or if your usual guy goes on holiday and someone else covers the route. That’s when things start taking a day longer to arrive, or they leave stuff in weird places (or at the wrong house).
At our old house, Parcel Farce were the worst of the lot because the driver was a lazy #!*$! who couldn’t be bothered doing the more rural stretches of his route. He used to go as far as the local Royal Mail delivery office in the village about 12 miles from us, leave the parcels there, and then slip a ‘sorry i missed you’ card in with our mail, which the postman would pick up and deliver to us the next day. |
Re: Evri and DHL to Merge
Good grief, hope I'm not writing to soon , I have never had a problem with a delivery

Bought some creatine gummies on eBay this afternoon, some really good quality ones for a decent price so I’ve been looking forward to these.
Then 5 minutes ago my heart sank as this email came through. |

Re: Evri and DHL to Merge
