Re: Classic outlook to new Outlook

Unless you have 365 you'll be stuck with classic. You can of course use new but it'll have ads.

My office 2021 suite has classic running no issues. I don't understand why you're having issues, please elaborate?

What do you want?

a) to keep Classic
b) to get New

It’s not clear from your posts…

Re: Classic outlook to new Outlook

Buy an office suite from either

https://www.g2a.com/

https://www.gamers-outlet.net/en

Or any other vendor you may have.

It's under £20 for a lifetime subscription. You'll get classic outlook in 2021 & earlier

Where did I assume anything ?
I asked you a very simple question, if you cannot answer such a basic question, I fail to see how anyone here can help you.

Re: Classic outlook to new Outlook

If you are on a PC, click on the link - it will install the App, then log in using the same login ID and password as classic Outlook.

Here is the process

Quote:

To install the new Outlook app, open the Microsoft Store, search for "Outlook for Windows", select "Get", and follow the prompts to download and install the app.

Here's a more detailed guide:
1. Access the Microsoft Store:
Open the Microsoft Store on your Windows app.

2. Search for "Outlook for Windows":
In the Microsoft Store search bar, type "Outlook for Windows".

3. Select "Get":
Locate the "Outlook for Windows" app and select "Get".

4. Download and Install:
The new Outlook app will begin downloading and installing.

5. Open the App:
Once the download and installation are complete, select "Open" to launch the new Outlook app.
6. Sign in and Configure:

If your accounts aren't added automatically, follow the prompts to add your account and start using the new Outlook.

Alternative method: Try the new Outlook from classic Outlook:
If you're using the classic Outlook for Windows, you might see a toggle in the upper-right corner to "Try the new Outlook".

Selecting this toggle will download the new app and let you switch to the preview.

After the installation is complete, classic Outlook will close and the new Outlook for Windows will open, where you can sign in and choose to import your accounts and settings.
You can switch back to classic Outlook any time.

That is what you asked for…

We can only answer the questions you ask, not the ones you think you meant to ask…

You can’t access Classic, you have to use New.

Try this

Quote:

1. Open Outlook

2. Click the Help action at the top

3. Click restore back to classic or Revert to legacy whichever yours shows and it reopens in the Classic View
