#5: WE WANT YOU TO CLAIM YOUR POWER & ABUNDANCE
people cut themselves off from the infinity of all creation for three reasons

First, because our common, "deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure" (Nelson Mandela/Marianne Williamson) - for if we claimed our power, we would fear how our life would change.

Second, because we do not believe we deserve it for "we are not worthy" (Wayne's World) - for if we were worthy, we would deserve to share in the abundance of the universe.

Third, we resist claiming abundance because it is so deeply ingrained in us that "the love of money is the root of all evil" - for if we could have money, it would allows to be more of who we are and claim our power.

#6: WE WANT YOU TO ACHIEVE YOUR HIGHEST POTENTIAL
Consider these words of Cherie Huber's: "that which you are seeking is causing you to seek". This is an ancient principle of Buddhism that is as modern as it gets.

#7: WE SAY LOVE YOURSELF MORE & FORGIVE OTHERS MORE
When your body is filled with love, it will stay healthier, last longer, and be better able to provide you with quality of life.

#8: WE HAVE BEEN, ARE, WILL BE WITH YOU ALWAYS
Your Higher Self knows all, sees all, and has the greatest possible compassion for your personal situation right now.

#9: WE WILL SHOW YOU THAT IT IS SAFE TO TRUST US
It has been said that "God "writes straight with crooked lines". It is when you follow those crooked lines over an extended period of time and see that they were, in fact, for the best - that is when you truly learn to trust.

#10: WE TELL THE TRUTH FROM OUR PERSPECTIVE
Your Higher Self sees your issues at deeper levels than you do. Many times you are unable to see the forest for the trees. Your Higher Self is much like a helicopter flying over the forest watching you make your way through the maze of trees below. It can see a better way for you to walk. It can even tell you why your forest was arranged the way it was: to better guide you on your life's journey.

Well, if we then consider those that pick their nose, those that are liars, those who know binary, and those who don't, the total combinations of the type of persons means there are 100 kinds of people.

ok, ok.... so if we take into account nose pickers (yes/no), knows binary (yes/no), believes in god (yes/no) and is a nice person (yes/no), then there are 10000 people (or 10 for those who only know Hex). I think.

My iffy eyes made me think the title was higher shelves and being vertically superior :erm: I thought it might be an interesting thread and lo and behold it turns out to be about finding new food sources in the cost of living crisis :sick:

In my life I've wavered between thinking the whole God thing is unadulterated nonsense and wondering if there might be something to it. Certainly I agree with Heinlein's Jubal Harshaw in thinking that there is more to self-awareness than a bunch of amino acids sticking together.

And then came Richard Morgan. His character Quelllcrist Falconer had a lot to say about religion. But one particular phrase has stuck in my mind since I read it: a preoccupation with the next world pretty clearly signals an inability to cope credibly with this one.

I tend to agree.

The best advice for life I've ever heard comes from, of all, people, Bill & Ted:

Be excellent to each other!

I can find no logical flaw in this advice. :p:

I have a friend who picks his nose and eats it........ He must like the taste??
