There is no one country that is the best. Several countries have different things to offer.


Maybe they pay better or people have more days off and are looked after better in the health system, maybe you live with the fear of tsunami's or earthquakes nearby, or you live near the sea instead of the polluted cities.


For me, the best country is somewhere where there is a good quality of life, great food, ideally where I could live by the sea and with lots of nature around. I hate big cities so the more remote the better.
Somewhere like a small remote French village would do me nicely.

Just returned from Vienna after a long weekend there. Wonderful place. Stayed in the centre and was impressed by how much just worked and worked well. Interestingly, Vienna was just voted the world’s most liveable city:

When I am there it is , it looks after some of its own , yes include my family in that. For holidays it has to be France, ( rural) , Wales for watching rugby, Canada friendliest . For nights out Ireland :D[COLOR="Silver"]

The best country in the world is where your your heart is, in my case t'would be Scotland, having lived in and enjoyed beautiful Cornwall for 45 years and made and lost many great friends here, it is still not home. My hearts in the highlands. :(
