He has had to live with it. I think he coped with it a long time ago and turned into what has ended up likely a much better life than he would have had if it had not happened

That's a bit harsh -he was trafficked into slavery at 9 years old,he has no reason to trust anyone, any hoo the home office aren't going to do anything about it,he's one of us now.

So why couldn't he have simply reunited with his family? Shouldn't that have been the aim of everybody? Is it because he would've had to leave the UK?
Never bought his original story of seeking asylum, as his twin brother and the rest of his family remained in Somalia.

He's living in the US now I believe. So those concerned he shouldn't be living here can now worry about other stuff instead.

I think he trains in the U.S but lives here. A lot of athletes train in Oregon because of the predictable weather, high altitude and space.
