I last listenend to Chicago 17 on cassette.....

I tell ya this release I got from KOREA sounds 100% better than the US release on cassette.....

The US release has DOBLY HX PRO and DOLBY B and sounds crappy....... This Korea one HAS NO DOLBY AT ALL and sounds goregous!!!

I tell ya,filters just make stuff worse....... Seems like everyone but the US knew that! (Thats not a surprise though)

Personally I've always found versions of Dolby make things sound better. Especially when using good speakers or decent headphones. But I know you seem to hate modern technology. Dolby Atmos is currently one of the best options for sound on movies and such. Fully immersive sound.

What cassette player/sound system do you have?

Just a reg player.......

The sound system is a sony tuner and trhe cassette player is a 2 deck Pioneer unit....

Switchfoot - The Beautiful Letdown (our version)

A cracking album from 2003, for its 20th anniversary they rerecorded it and updated the songs now they've gotten more experienced and access to better instruments and equipment.

I always listen to full albums.

Blondie, Parallel Lines, sometime in the mid 1990's (some 10+ years after its release).
Its one a very small number of albums I have ever listened too (OMD and Dire Straits were the only others I can think of, also in the early 1990's).

at 70 I don't have all the time in the world and therefore I want to listen to individual songs not an entire album.You know, pick and choose and avoid the naff ones.Life is becoming shorter by the hour for me.

I tell ya for 1989 this is awesome.. The songs are a bit longer like they mostly all were in the 70s and before and its just beautiful listening to...

I read they have 1 more album in 1993 but if I know the 90s like I do,its not at as good...
