If not a stuck key then time for a new keyboard.

Or could it be a driver issue? You were talking about deleting unwanted drivers - have you deleted one you do need by mistake?

If my PC starts acting strange I usually run a full malware/virus scan after a reboot.

Did you use that driver problem and try to fix something that was not broken ?

There is a keyboard in Windows you can use, if your hard wired one ever plays up. Under 'accessibility'. Just use the mouse, to click on the keys. A bit slow but useful in an emergency coffee over the keyboard situation....

If you go to BIOS setup (or whatever these days) do you see same behaviour? Can you try a Linux live DVD and see if issue is there? Trying to see if it's O/S or software or driver or hardware?

Can you borrow another keyboard to rule that out?

Well if you're pretty sure it's not the keyboard you could always restore windows back to a point before the problem started? It'll also tell you what changes it's undoing to give you an idea of what may of caused the issue.

Sorry, I’m not clear what you’re saying - have you tried a different keyboard, or just unplugged one?

Yes and I keep forgetting this MR. K!!!!

Sometimes my cables become loose and my keyboard doesnt work....I keep forgetting I could activite the windows one huh? (Maybe not as I have purged alot of stuff long ago I didnt use) I could still probably use SFC and restore it from the cabs...
