Re: Email issue
Do you have "Data Saver" on, in the "SIM & network settings" option?
Also, on the same page, do you have "Mobile data" on? |

Re: Email issue
Thank you for contacting Spamhaus CSS Removals,
A device (server, computer, mobile phone, etc), or an app on a device that is using 92.40.172.*** is infected, insecure or compromised. It is making SMTP connections with forged values. The first detection was (UTC) 2020-08-01 23:30:00 The last detection was (UTC) 2020-10-22 10:20:00 To stop the abuse immediately, close outbound port 25 on the router or firewall and restrict port 25 access to known email servers. Note: this will only prevent the abusive connections from leaving your network. If the problem is (for example) an infected mobile phone, when it moves to another insecure network, it will resume its activity without restriction. To find and eliminate the source of the problem, please see the our FAQs |
Re: Email issue
A quick snoop at whois shows the IP you've listed is the mobile connection not via VM's network or that's what it appears to be. If it were VM network then issue would happen on all devices you connect. But that doesn't really help does it?
inetnum: 92.40.0.0 - 92.40.255.255 netname: H3GUK descr: Mobile Broadband Service country: GB Personally I use Google Mail and then pull my emails from VM to that within Google Mail. This means that I can change ISP and keep emails. New accounts or modify old ones to use Google Mail. (Other service providers are available |
