Amazon Prime
I know the V6 has had Prime Video a while but I have noticed this: on the TiVo - on demand - box sets - tv players - and there is a functioning Prime Video app...
---------- Post added at 09:44 ---------- Previous post was at 08:51 ---------- I always thought you could not access Amazon Prime Video from the TiVo, just from the V6... |

Although I can browse using it - I can not get it to work beyond that.

Re: Amazon Prime
We still have TiVo as our TV is CRT so no HDMI inputs. We have a converter but it's SCART to composite so quality is watchable but not very good.

I am gonna set up a free month on Prime and see if it works... |
Re: Amazon Prime
It shouldn't be there. Prime Video is V6 only
As this has been posted over on the Community Forum too I believe it's now been flagged to investigate why it's possible to get to it. What you should get is an 'you need to upgrade to V6' message instead. |

The new Amazon video accounts has launchedvi checked my V6 to see if I could set it up but it says the box is incompatible any ideas also why do virgin take an age to update the apps

Same reason they take ages to update EPG changes and to get Sky Atlantic and UHD content. |

So Amazon need to do the code updates required for the TiVo version of Prime Video app to support the profiles and then Virgin need to deploy it to the V6 boxes. |
