I'm hoping, it was just an answer to get rid of journalists? It's possible (maybe wishful thinking) that this is a very rare occasion where they just want to be left alone, so they thought they'd just respond with some nonsense to keep ppl "happy"/talking?

As I understand it, California is one of those places where there are rules around what you can and can't name a child. I suspect they wouldn't be able to register this as the child's name, assuming of course they have any intention of trying. I suspect it's to be read more as a cryptic clue rather than the actual spelling that will feature on any birth certificate.

The rules there stipulate that no pictographs, ideograms and diacritical marks for example è, ñ, ē, ç can be used when registering the birth. Names have to consist of the 26 letters of the alphabet.

my take on musk is that his only talented is securing billions of dollars in subsidies from the US government by saying he's going to do things and then never doing them.

his kid's name is just another piece of evidence to add to the pile that he's a dumbass manchild
