Issues accessing a website on VM connection
I am having issues accessing www.neowin.net on my VM connection it is painfully slow loading pages and when i do ping neowin.net in CMD all i get is request timed out.
If using a UK VPN i have a normal speedy access although the ping test also times out, so i would be grateful if some of you can try and let me know how speedy the site is your end. :) |

Opened fine for me.

Re: Issues accessing a website on VM connection
Working fine for me in the midlands. Maybe it is a routing issue on VM's end the VPN is bypassing it.

Does traceroute give any clues where the problem is?

Re: Issues accessing a website on VM connection
Worked for me in Chrome and Firefox. Have you tried clearing your browser cache and cookies as it may be bringing up a stored copy of the site that first caused the loading problems ?

Re: Issues accessing a website on VM connection
Working fine here Snoopz, have to agree it sounds like a routing issues.
Related to those issues you had with your TBB graph not being able to ping? |

As I just get a timeout when doing that so no useful data. It doesn't matter which browser I use but if connected via VPN it is working fast. Will try again Sunday evening as away for the weekend. |

Re: Issues accessing a website on VM connection
Loading fine here still, chances are their routers are configured to not respond to pings.

Re: Issues accessing a website on VM connection
It's fine. It's normal for some intermediate routers to not respond. But you are consistently getting to neowin and back in 20ms, which is good.
We'll probably never know where the problem was |
Re: Issues accessing a website on VM connection
my trace route is pretty much the same as yours so I wouldn't worry
