Agreed, Den. This is a sideshow and simply used by ITV to extract a bit more money.

This is all connected to the UKTV issue and that is why the ITV story should be on that thread.

The mods might like to join the two threads together with a modified title, maybe? These two debates are interconnected. This thread on its own won't come to much.

Only reason I sub to VM TV are premium channels Sky Sports, Sky Movies , BT Sport and for no other reason. I can Watch anything else I want to on freeview.

What in hell are liberty global doing?

Discovery (who part own UKTV) and liberty global BOTH own All3Media.

liberty global own 9.9% of ITV.
