The advantage of buying through the Virgin Media store is that, as well as getting the DVDs through the post, it is also available to watch forever on V6 and 4 other devices.
I used this to both watch a movie we wanted to watch on V6 and gift the DVD to someone at Christmas. |

Re: Buying on Demand !
Thanks but that doesn't really answer whether digital only is an option on movies along with the DVD option.

But the prices for the movies are aligned to other digital stores, so you're basically getting the DVD for free. For instance Thor: Raganrok is £13.99 on Virgin Media Store with the DVD being sent. It's also £13.99 on Amazon, and that is Digital only. |
Re: Buying on Demand !
That tells me which one is the better value and that is Virgin Media Store.

Re: Buying on Demand !
The majority on Amazon seem to be £9.99 HD digital only as opposed to £13.99 on Virgin Store.
A few examples Ripsaw , Kingsman (Golden Circle) |

I wasn't purely referring to Disney/Marvel I was on about all recent releases

Re: Buying on Demand !
Does it really matter? Anyone with any sense will shop around for whatever they want to buy. Don't like VM's offering? Feel free to go elsewhere.
I really cannot see what your issue is. |
Re: Buying on Demand !
I don't have an issue I was asking a question. I always search multiple sources , my reply was to the statement that the service is priced the same as competitors who offer digital only.
To be fair I wasn't even aware non Virgin subscribers could use the service so it's another source to compare. |

Re: Buying on Demand !
Any plans to offer Blu-ray (at least) with digital purchases does anyone know?
We're two generations on from DVD nowadays and I'm sure a fair few customers, like myself, would pay a few more quid for the Blu-ray instead. |
