No doubt the US response will be that everyone should have more guns. Crazy country.

Re: Mass shooting in Texas
It's very sad and it's a record year for such homicides.
I can't see a way out for the US from future mass murders unless Congress reduces its dependency on the arms trade. |
Re: Mass shooting in Texas
Kids keep on dying but they don't seem to care enough by minimising the chances of it happening again.
I guess it's a way of life to them. people will just keep on shooting. and kids will just keep on dying. |
Re: Mass shooting in Texas
Identity of shooter released
Devin Patrick Kelley, 26, has been named by media as the man who opened fire on a Texas church, killing 27 and injuring dozens. He allegedly has a military background. |
Very very sad :(

Still trying to work out why it's not a gun situation. |
Re: Mass shooting in Texas
The Americans don’t see their own issues with guns and that includes Trump. He was heavily endorsed by the NRA - this is my own criticism of Trump and America’s gun laws.
They are born and grown up in to a society that has the second amendment, the same old arguments, the same old responses from those, who will never part with their guns, “guns don’t kill people, people kill people.” - This is sadly, their mentality. |

Even if the had 'mental' issues, the ready availability of weapons is mad. The defensiveness of the gun lobby/Trump already signals they know its mad. These events are happening more regularly. They not only need to look at guns but why there an increasing number of nutters feeling the need to use them in US society. Surely there must be an amendment that allows US citizens not to be shot ? |

Re: Mass shooting in Texas
Sorry to be so callous but why are we even having this in the news?
its just another normal day in gun crazy US of A, and nothing will change. IIRC in Texas if you are in an argument and feel threatenedyou can shoot the other party in self defence. I'm more angry and the guy in the UK who murdered a 18 month old girl. |
Re: Mass shooting in Texas
My last post on a US mass killing post. It's pointless, they will never change and I have to worry about stuff I can try to change.

Re: Mass shooting in Texas
Thing is though, who brings guns into a church?
Well, the bad guys do. Who brings guns into countries where guns are banned? Well, the bad guys do. The bad guys will always be able to get hold of weapons one way or another. Even if the good guys aren't allowed to have them. |
Re: Mass shooting in Texas
That must must be why we have all those frequent occurrences of mass shootings in other countries like the UK, Canada, Germany, Australia, France, Germany, etc...
