But will they be on a sofa, in a studio in London, with a couple of token roving reporters at the the match? With the main commentary coming from the annoying Channel 9 Aussies? If so, they're doing it on the cheap. Irrelevant to me anyway, the sound will be muted, and Radio 4's TMS on.

(if they ask me Den, I am available for selection or commentary, just don't tell Mrs K ;) )

Oh dear this Women's Ashes lark isn't going very well, hopefully the rain might save them today, every HD drop of it looking good on BT Sport ;)

Yes we have nearly 300 runs to get Mr K so it does not look good.

Well eyes down for a long tour from tomorrow night !

I fear the worst, but hope for the best. If the blokes can show any of the spirit the ladies did in their fantastic win today, we might have a chance....

You certainly do not sound very optimistic Mr K as you never know as miracles do happen despite the bookies odds.

tbh Den, thought I was being optimistic :D

Aussies haven't lost in Brisbane sine 1988....

Rain would be handy, and that might be our best hope !

What? We've called up Henry VIII ? Desperate, but worth a go I guess..... ;)

Stokes is off to NZ, still only a stone's throw away though, and he hasn't been proved guilty of anything. His twin brother is as guilty as hell !

Thank God for the day/night Tests. Midnight to 7am was a killer; 3:30am start is much more civilised :) It's a must win or the Ashes are gone, be be very happy if we play dirty and underhand, they've got a short fuse the Aussies.....

Poor selections , poor decisions and led by a captain who does not seem to have a clue and that is just for starters.

Who else would you have selected Den? We don't have anybody.... The selectors have my number, wonder if the phones working? I blame VM ....

Mmmmm, but if you keep them locked up in their hotel for weeks and then let them out for a night... They need to treat them as adults if they want adult behaviour.

Second team young cricketer anyway who wouldn't have got into the Test side. Nobody else involved so presumably he's clobbered a team mate/given the captain 360 degree feedback ! Look out for black eyes in the Third test...

Adults don't get curfews Den, this isn't the a World War, seems being locked up together has caused the aggro !

If one is a true professional then one should be tucked up in bed at a reasonable time in preparation for the next days action so l have no problem with having certain boundaries..

So you'd have restrictive boundaries like no punching the captain, or headbutting the opposition :D

Botham, Lamb, Gower were famous for their all night nightclub benders, then going on to play and beat the Aussies next day. Guess the current saps aren't made of such stuff and must be tucked up at 8pm with Teddy.

Well sadly if your preparation is non existent before this tour then basically all you are prepared for is to fail Dave and that is exactly what has transpired very sadly.

Time for Broad and Cook to hang up their boots, they were great but aren't any longer. Also drop Ali for the time being as he's out of form. Pick some of the young guys. We'll still get beat, but that's not the point now, get them prepared for next time.

Personally the selectors have a lot to answer for as leaving out your best player when if you go back 30 years Beefy and Daffy made Stokes antics seem like a tea party so that was not a good starting point and then picking bowlers who would not be suited to Down Under conditions was another mistake and then there was the near zero preparations which was basically shambolic in the extreme and sadly l could go on and on Mr K but l am sure you have a analysis of why we failed dismally.

Looks like rain might save the Aussies; not that they care much now anyway..

Enjoying the 'big bash'. Not a massive fan of 20/20 but the Aussies seem to do it best. If only there was an option to mute sound every time KP opens his mouth. Every day and in every way he becomes more of a self obsessed ******.....
