There's a few on here that use a zip on their mouths. :D

I thought it might be as there's a lot of England flags out round here.

Happy St George's day everyone!
Last year some breweries printed free beer tokens so keep an eye out if that's your sort of thing.

Why is it more important? Would say such a thing of Saint Patrick's day? Even though St Patrick was actually English?

Because Shakespeare was English, and a real person, and is famed throughout the world.

St George is semi-mythical, didn't really fight a dragon, and if real, was born in what is now Turkey.

btw, the Catholic Encyclopedia states that St Patrick was born in Scotland... ;)

I'm sure you've just educated lots of Scott's and welshmen. So was St Patrick mythical? Was David mythical? But t St Patrick was born in England.

Umm...no, we're pretty much certain there never was a dragon to begin with.

But you believe St David was born on a cliff top in a violent storm? An whilst preaching the ground he was standing on became a hill under his feet?

Unfortunately Anglophobia and Anglophobic crime is increasing year on year. It's also being seen as a hate crime and taken more seriously each year. The English are an ethnic group and should be treated and respected as such.

Today l actually attended a St Georges Day Parade. And it was magic. It brought back the pride that we have in the UK.

But, its this pocksy Government that doesn't celebrated it.

The Irish celebrate St Patricks Day, to great standard. So why on earth don't we celebrate it as well.

Cuz of Dave.

we were that ashamed to be British all the time Dave was in. we just haven't got out the habit even after he left.

The Muslim most like won't be offended but the political police will claim they are so not to expose it's them who are offended.
