What a shame - a very clever comedic talent.

RIP Ms. Wood - you'll be missed.

Its only going to get worse im afraid. As the baby-boomers get older so too do those who entatained them. Celeberty culture really started to kick off in the 60's/70's with an unprecedented exploasion of famouses, those who survived their youth are now hitting 60-70-80. That unfortunatly means as the years roll on more and more are sadly going to start dropping off.

That being said it always sad when someone who made you laugh/happy leaves us.

Utterly depressing. Everyone seems to be dying; they can just stop it now.

RIP :(

I think it is more that those passing in their 60s are dying of cancer rather than of old age.

So very sad - she was so talented in so many areas - one of the all time greats.

RIP Victoria

Cancer has been an absolute ****** these last few months, far too many people dying from it. She'll be a massive loss to the comedy world.

Life's not fair, is it? Some of us drink champagne in the fast lane, and some of us eat our sandwiches by the loose chippings on the A597.
RIP :(

Looks like prince might not have been listening. It's not a great time to be in the business of show :(

62 is no age but having seen quite a few of Osem Jnr # 2's peers never reach their teens and lost a wife aged only 40 who passed away with no prior warning whatsoever I guess I see things a bit differently.

If I hear that poxy song The Ballad of Barry and Freda ("Let's Do It")

I will throw my radio out of the window.

Yet more bad news in this terrible year for showbiz. Kanye West has been found alive and well in his house

This is the key, she was funny without being offensive.

Anybody can stand on a stage and utter obscenities or take a pot shot at a severely disabled defenceless child like Frankie Boyle.

Victoria Wood never had to do this, she was a true professional.

RIP x
