Man stabbed to death in Poundland.
 

Some poor guy has been stabbed to death in Poundland this afternoon, not thought to be terror related at this stage.

Are you more aware out and about these days? Do you find yourself profiling the people you see on the street?

was anyone non white seeings as though they think a stabbing is "terror" related.
or was all involved white and they just fear that all of them are going to be "terror" related?

No and normally this would not be considered terror, but the current climate changes that. We are more aware of terror.

If this happened 6 months ago you may assume it's a personal vendetta/drug related/etc. So mentioning terror today in context is reasonable, even though unlikely. But I still don't understand your "white" comment?

Because I'm trying to work out why the "terror" suggestion was made. and whether it will still have been suggested depending on what colour their hands are.

No more than usual, though I have found that since I moved out of London the amount of people I profile as ********* has dropped considerably, which is nice.

Someone's ethnicity shouldn't matter when debating in a thread.

I'll define terrorism again though. A person who uses terrorism in the pursuit of political aims.

No race or religion need be involved to be labelled a terrorist. Just any old person that commits to the above.

I think the Boston Bombers proved fairly well that you needn't just automatically assume something via skin colour. But hey, I've been labeled a terrorist sympathizer for saying not all muslims are terrorists :rolleyes:

I'm sure that someone wandering around a crowded shopping area, shouting at passers-by, and carrying 4 long knives is going to terrorise people.

If they put their phones down and stop filming of course....
