Happy St David's day.

Funnily enough posts on CF are supposed to be in English only but I'll simply use the race card ;)

Don't forget English-types, to celebrate your patron saint's day is RACIST!!! ;)

It sucks that people are allowed to celebrate Wales, Scotland and Ireland's patron saints. But God forbid that the English should dare to show some patriotism.

Such a fallacy. I lived in Leicester (one of the most multicultural cities in the UK) for a few years and during the 2010 World Cup. Your national flag was everywhere. Hanging from people's windows, pubs, offices, lamp posts, displayed on cars etc

What I think causes people to think that is the knuckle-draggers from the BNP and other similar far-right groups have a habit of displaying the St George's flag rather than the Union flag. That way it gets associated with racism.

I've always said the same about the home nations: whichever you belong to, wave your flag high and with pride. It's not tribalism, it's a celebration :)

Palestinian then, with a Greek father and Palestinian mother, iirc a type of Roman citizenship was granted to anyone that served in the military.
