Its time to replace my aging Asus Transformer TF-101.

I've been looking at the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 edition.

it should do Screen Mirroring with my Samsung TV, what are peoples views on it?

i want a powerful one, and would like 1080p, and waterproof, but the Sony one screen pixel count is pants.

Ive got a Samsung Galaxy tab, Its not the Note one but mines awesome. I used to have an Ipad and I prefer the Samsung to the ipad. It syncs with my TV and has Googleplay Store.

If I was you i'd go for Samsung. I dont think you will be dissapointed.

None of my local retailers have the Black or White Note 2014, so I might wait or buy online.

I've got the Note 10.1 2014, and I've had nothing to complain about since I got it. It'll shortly get the 4.4 KitKat upgrade too.

I went for the black one as I like watching films on it and thought the white border around the screen would be distracting.

got the first Note 10.1 and I can not fault it. It mirrors to my Panny also

Mrs Swoop has the 10.1 2014 note and it a great bit of kit.
No complaints at all.

I've seen a 32Gig black & white models of the 2014 edition on Amazon, but the black is £50 more expensive.

Go for the 16GB Note 10.1 and it's the other way around

As you can put an SD card in the tablet, don't think its really needed to go for the higher internal memory

Reading reviews doesn't fill me with hope.

Mobohub looks like it's based in Germany and doesn't come with a UK adapter

Gamecybershop could be uk

Top deals uk looks like it's US and not covered in Europe.

I have bought a 32GB one from expansys, which is being delivered tomorrow.

Gamecybershop is Hong Kong and a bit of a nightmare if things go wrong (as I found out)

Well I have one flaw in the unit, putting a MicroSD in the slot, my adult fingers are far to big and need to use the S Pen to push it in.

I do like the voice activation camera, "SMILE" "CAPTURE" :D

What case do you have as the official on is £8 online or £50 in Carphone Warehouse.

I have seen that the official one has a design fault, in that when you open the cover you cannot use the rear camera.

I went for this one. It still triggers the cover actions. Only annoying thing is that it doesn't clip itself open when flat, only when rolled up as the stand

Looking at it compared with the official one, the connection is at the bottom rather than at the top. Should make using the camera easier

I gather that when you put in and open the front cover, it turns on the same way as when you remove the pen?

Not sure as it's been ages since I used the Pen. I get the calendar summary when I open the cover
