Netflix email code?
Hi all signed up to a new Package on Friday, said Netflix email code would be sent out soon,
How long does it usually take? Should i sign up to a netflix account first online (browser) then add that account to the tivo app? |
Re: Netflix email code?
It takes around 5 working days for the code to arrive in the email Nick.
You can sign up either way. |
Re: Netflix email code?
Of course if you sign up first, you get a free month from Netflix. Potentially this means you get six months rather than 5 free ;)

Re: Netflix email code?
I signed up 2 the new package last Friday but there not coming out till a week on Friday this week will I still get a code?
|
Re: Netflix email code?
you should do. call in and double check. i was told the code is set out a couple of days after the new deal kicks in.
|
Re: Netflix email code?
Just changed my package from VIP to premier, and was told I do not get the netflix offer, as the code was coming up as an error on the system so the offer must have finished.
|
Re: Netflix email code?
You still have 14 and half hours according to the site. call in again.
|
Re: Netflix email code?
Apparently it is because I have not renewed with my original package but have downgraded. Only new customers get the offer when signing up to new services or existing are renewing at their current or higher package

Re: Netflix email code?
All sorted now, should get the email in the next 5 days. Amazing that you just speak to someone else, who just says that is right and applies it. Also the previous CS person had also cancelled my Spotify payment as well, luckily the change hasn't gone through yet and that has been reinstated.

Also after 7 months end do I have to confirm to Netflix on the next billing date for more services, payable services or do they just take money out ? |
Re: Netflix email code?
If you've added the code to an existing Netflix account, which you'd need to do to get the extra month free, I'd expect that at the end the payments would just start up (or start up again)
Just to point out, if you set up an account as part of the VM/Netflix offer then I don't believe you needed to give payment details. So in that case Netflix would contact you before the end of the offer to ask what you wanted to do. |
Re: Netflix email code?
Netflix are a pain. Why don't they have a page where you can view your applied vouchers etc. etc. time to fire off an email!
---------- Post added at 17:03 ---------- Previous post was at 16:44 ---------- Update: Just called Netflix and was told 'theres nothing to worry about' by a dude in Texas https://www.cableforum.co.uk/images/...2014/03/12.gif Your Account > View billing details.. shows firstly the free months trial then after the trial is up the Virgin Media voucher will show up until end date. I'm then told to cancel membership before the end of my full free pass to avoid getting billed. So first week of October :) |
Re: Netflix email code?
Once you have signed up for Netflix, you will be charged monthly unless you cancel.
The six month free offer applies a credit to your Netflix account which will be used until it runs out. |
Re: Netflix email code?
Thanks. Yeah I did see the 35oddŁ credit message appear but why doesn't that credit show up in my account or will it after the free months trial ends ?

Re: Netflix email code?
I had the TiVo installed last week which took 2 weeks 4 them to come and install it. The guy who installed it said that we should get a code through the post but got northing. Just ranged up and they said we got a loyalty discount instead
|
Re: Netflix email code?
Yup VM were either giving out big loyalty discounts or Netflix. not both.
